Happy Holidays!!
It's that time of year again!
Joyous and magical, happy and stressful!
A time of year that recalls something different for everyone.
Carolling, gift giving, baking,
the mad dash to buy that "perfect gift".
The smells, the sights, the sounds......
The look of joy and wonder on a child's face....
And on the faces of those
who are still children when it comes to
Christmas.
A season of miracles and of love.

In all the madness and rush
we must take time to reflect on the true
meaning of the season.
The little Child, born of a humble mother,
in a stable. Our gift from God,
who came to teach us love and peace.
The little Child who grew to be
a Man who would change the world. A simple
carpenter, who never travelled more
than 30 miles from His home. And yet how
far His message spread....... Let us remember
to celebrate the joy of His birth
in this season.

When we think of the humble beginnings of Jesus,
let us keep in mind those
less fortunate than us. Christmas can be a hard season
when you have no job,
no food, no home. Let us keep these people in our
hearts and our prayers
and do what we are able to do to keep the light of
hope burning in their
hearts. Show a kindness to someone......
it's like giving yourself a gift.

And most of all, in this season of love
the best gift we can give to others is
ourselves. We give our love and hearts to our
families, friends and acquaintences.
"For God so loved the world, He gave His only Son (John 3:16)".
If He gives so much
to us, it is now especially that we
should give our love to others.
It is a gift without price.
